A pair of vintage wrought iron spiral candle holders, otherwise known as courting candles.
They feature a twisted centre with the candle holder base being able to be moved up or down by twisting the side lever. The story behind antique courting candles is that parents supposedly set the candle height to limit how long a suitor could stay. This pair is likely a vintage reproduction but offers a great story behind the design, while suiting many interior spaces, especially for those who like a brutalist modern design.
